About Us
EyeCruise
EyeCruise is a medical consultation service that provides expert eye care to the maritime and cruise industries. While many ships are outfitted with a staff doctor, many physicians are uncomfortable diagnosing and treating eye emergencies. Given the complexity of the eye, serious conditions and timely treatments are often missed, resulting in a spectrum of problems ranging from epidemic on-board conjunctivitis to permanent vision loss. EyeCruise fills this niche and provides comprehensive routine and emergency services for the customers and employees of the maritime and cruise industries.
Our 24/7 on-call specialists are Ivy League trained Medical Doctors (MD) and Board-Certified Ophthalmologists specifically trained in the triage and management of eye emergencies.
Telemedical consultations are available for ships at sea.
In-person evaluations are currently available at the Port of Miami and Port Everglades.
In addition, EyeCruise provides a service for outfitting ships and fleets with updated and clinically appropriate equipment and medications.
